YUFC Appoint New Head Coach

YUFC would like to thank all candidates that applied for the vacant Amateur head coach position; we are now in a position after various productive discussions to announce Glynn as our new head coach for the 2021 season.

We are delighted to welcome Glynn to the Club as we embrace our 40th anniversary season; he brings a wealth of experience as well as a vast network of contacts from within the footballing community.

Glynn has been coaching/managing at a semi-pro level for the past 12 years. He holds a UEFA B coaching licence and for the last 10 years, he has been in the UK coaching at level 4 semi-pro level and managed teams in the FA cup proper and the FA Vase. 

He has managed Chard Town, Shepton Mallet and Wells City in the UK and at State League with Queens Park, Dianella White Eagles and Shamrock Rovers in WA.

With Glynn now in place we are seeking quality players with ambition to join the setup (past and existing players are welcome) 
The coaching team have aspirations to enter a competitive league with a nomination to be lodged at State Div 3 or Amateur Prem/ Div1 level.

We will utilise our new $8.5m state of the art facility Splendid Park and offer comprehensive training, fitness and physiotherapy services and are offering reduced registration fee’s.

This squad will enter a team to take part in the FMR (Margaret River) pre-season carnival on the 27th-28th February 2021, an open training session will be held at Splendid Park on Wednesday 9th December at 7pm and a welcoming player and family sundowner at St Andrews Park on Saturday 12th December (time TBC)
